Child SEXUAL ABUSE Sexual abuse is among the most serious issues that face children and youth today. The specter of child sexual abuse is frightening to parents and caring adults. Sexual abuse steals so much from children, robbing them of trust, innocence and security. Addressing the problem of child sexual abuse directly and responsibly is important to fostering appropriate awareness of this difficult topic. Childhood is a pivotal time in human development, more so than any other phase of life. One of the biggest social stigmas attached to a society is that of child abuse. All forms of violence, abuse and exploitation have long-lasting consequences on children’s lives. Slowly India is becoming increasingly aware of violence against children, especially sexual abuse.   A child’s mind begins with their brain, and their brain begins with a structure morphologically similar to an adult. While physical growth is perhaps the most obvious change during this time, neurological growth is an ev
